Rich ripe huckleberry colour
I just received my bottle of Diamine Jamir Gemilang ink in the mail yesterday. I had a new uninked Baoer 388 sitting around. I thought the line would be too thin to show the read sheen but no. I saw it right away. Such a beautiful blue with a hint of red, like ripe huckleberries. I’m very happy with this ink.

I was impressed by the safe delivery.
Pen Gallery's packing skills are too great.
I'll put their delicacy into writing first.
They sent the ink stopper and the soldier wrapped in tissue paper to prevent the ink from leaking out during the shipment.
Then, put them in a small vinyl bag.
The end was well covered with tape.
Put them all in the original box of the product.
He taped it to another paper box.

nice blue ink with minor sheen
It has a very nice dark blue but the so called red sheen is more towards violet or pink. The sheen only shows if using very broad nib, and on non absorbant paper. Overall a nice ink.

The variation of color is magnificent ! I fill this ink in my Pilot 823. Will buy one more next time.

Looks great on paper, but as stated below it does take a wetter nib to bring out the red sheen. The blue is very nice though! Probably recommend it with medium sized nibs.
