Amazing shading!
This beautiful blue ink shades to deep pink and red. Diamine makes some beautiful inks. This is by far my favorite.

Great sheen even on a normal 70gms exercise book

A bit more teal than expected
Great ink that sheens slightly even with a somewhat dry pen and normal quality copy paper. Oddly, on lower quality papers it appears as more of a teal colour than the blue on the actual Jalur Gemilang flag. A pleasant surprise for me; the colour looks unique even though these papers kill the sheen completely, but it may not be your cup of tea. To get an idea of the teal I'm talking about, look at the 'e' in "Gemilang" in the writing sample, but quite a bit darker. Oh and this ink is definitely on the wet side, so pair your pen and paper accordingly.

Sheen and shade
Exquisite ink. A blue leaning turquoise with a subtle pink sheen. The shading also suggests (in my test on Tomoew River paper) a hint of violet. Unlike some of the super-sheeners the ink seems willing to dry on the page which is a bonus. Obviously not the same colour blue as Organic Studios Nitrogen or Diamine’s own Skulls and Roses, I have not seen a colour quite like it.

A Unique ink!
Being an exclusive ink solely for PenGallery, Diamine has created an ink that could compete against one of those popular inks by Organics Studio. However, true to its name, Jalur Gemilang, the ink does reflect the colours of the National flag. It starts off with a nostalgic blue that reminds me of a blue colour from a Staedtler colour pencil. It's not a royal blue, but more of a dark blue.
The special part of the ink is the red sheen that comes up only when written with a very wet nib. It pops up as almost like a metallic red but it reminds me of something like the Montegrappa Fortuna Blazer. There is a slight copper red colour to the sheen. It's very minimal but with the right nib, right paper, and right lighting, it comes out naturally.
Overall, a splendid ink, truly unique and true to its name. Would definitely recommend this ink to any collector or user out there.
