Beautiful blue ink; perfect for the 'sheen'-lovers!
I first came across Sargasso Sea -- the ink; not the sea ;) -- on YouTube and right off the bat was captivated by the rich blue colour and the 'sheen' (oh what a sheen) that was evident on it. I use the ink with my TWSBI classic (medium nib) and really enjoy the experience of writing with it. The ink flows smoothly but the time it takes to dry will depend on the type of paper being used. The ink works well (no feathering and no bleeding; little to no show-through) with my Traveler's Notebook refill paper (001, 002, 013, the monthly and weekly diary), Double A (80 gsm) paper, Tomoe River paper, and on a number of normal/school exercise book papers. It doesn't play well at all with some cheap papers and, surprisingly, even with my Moleskine notebooks (regular & Evernote edition) where the ink tends to exhibit 'feathers' and significant show-through. I have not experienced any hard/dry start and clogging so far. Bear in mind that this is one heck of a highly saturated blue and wet ink and if you are not careful you'll have inky fingers or smears on your hand after using/handling it. Overall, I do like this ink (am still mesmerised by the 'sheen') even if it means having to deal with inky fingers at the end of the day (don't worry - occurs very rarely & only if you are careless with it!).
** 4 stars for not playing well with my Moleskine notebooks and for the inky fingers.
