Kobe INK Monogatari Special color Akashi Museum Gold
Akashi City, located in Hyogo Prefecture, boasts a rich history reflected in its historical sites and mentions in classics like the Manyoshu and the Tale of Genji. Today, it's known not only as the location where the Japanese standard time "Shigosen" (meridian) passes but also as a culinary hub famous for Akashi sea bream and its vibrant fish market.
The Akashi City Museum of Culture, established in October 1991, serves to showcase the city's history and cultural heritage. One of its most notable exhibits is the fossil of the "Akashi-zou" (elephant), discovered in sediment dating back about 2 million years, highlighting Akashi's long-standing suitability for animal life.
The fountain pen ink inspired by Akashi reflects this deep history with a rich, greenish gold color, symbolizing the fertile land from which the Akashi-zou emerged to the present day. It’s a beautiful tribute to the city's legacy and natural beauty!
