This fountain pen ink, created in collaboration with Kobe INK Monogatari and the esteemed Kikumasamune Sake Brewery from the Nada-gogo region, embodies the rich heritage of Japanese sake production. Nada-gogo, known for its five distinct areas—Sai-go, Mikage-go, Uozaki-go, Nishinomiya-go, and Imazu-go—produces about 25% of Japan’s sake and is revered by sake enthusiasts.
In 2019, "KIKUMASA Burgundy" was introduced as a new corporate color to celebrate Kikumasamune's 360th anniversary. This deep burgundy ink reflects the brewery’s passion for innovation while honoring its long-standing history and traditions. The rich dark red hue evokes the warmth and depth associated with both sake and the brewery’s legacy. It’s a beautiful tribute to the art of brewing and the craft of ink making.
