Kyoto Inks is a Japan based ink company made fountain pen inks from traditional dye techniques and the color was mainly use for the Kimono industry. Now these traditional colors are available for fountain pens. These colors are the aspirations of traditional Japanese colors and also name after unique places in Old Japan.
Kyo No Oto No. 14 Yurushiiro is a pale red fountain pen ink. It was considered a "forbidden color" because it was only allowed to be used by members of the royal family and people of high social status.
