The Aya Collection features a No.30 pen nib for a soft and smooth touch. The name of the collection, "Aya", has meanings like beautiful color, luster, shine, and pattern. Bodies finished with colored lacquer are inscribed with patterns representing various themes, expressing a world of rich color ("irodori") through Togidashi Maki-e (Burnished Maki-e). collection is enriched with four new models, signed by the Kokkokai group craftsmen presented in the AYA range. In Japanese, the word “A Y A” means colored light. Abstract patterns that represent an enchanting world, imbued with poetry and that will feed our imagination. Each fountain pen is enhanced with colored lacquer and a pattern in Togidashi maki- e, Raden, gold or silver powder.
The fountain pen is available with a 18 karat gold with rhodium accented nib, assuring long lasting, impeccable writing performance. A traditional oriental wood gift box completes the attractive presentation.
